Our First Ten Years

Tammi and I celebrated our tenth anniversary last week in Banff, Canada. It doesn't seem like ten years already, they have flown by. Our anniversary trip was fantastic, we had the time of our lives. We appreciate travel so much more now that we have kids, we value the time we get to share between just the two of us.

We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs, a historic "castle" in the Rocky mountains. Everything was so beautiful. We enjoyed the waterfall below the hotel, walking along the river, horseback riding, a day trip to Lake Louise, and visits to the spa. One day, we were sitting outside (in freezing temperatures) in a hot tub when an elk came right up and visited us.

We both agree that it was probably the best trip we've ever taken together. It was so wonderful for us to get to spend quality time together.

The kids had their own "vacation" as Nana, Papa and GG stayed at our house with them and had special activities for them each day. They had a great time!
