Our Fun Week

We've had a great week! David's sister Sheryl turned the big 4-0 and his parents held a surprise party in her honor. Tammi made the birthday cake (see below). We call it the "Oh no, the big 4-0 cake."


Today the kids had a great time swimming in the back yard. They love their kiddie pool, but it's been way to hot for them to swim. They got out early this morning, though, and had a great time. Madeleine was doing all kinds of tricks she learned at gymnastics class (see photo) and Mason enjoyed dancing in the pool.

Like father like son. David's mom has a picture of David when he was a little fella wearing a ball cap to the side. Mason is obsessed with hats of all kinds. Whenever he gets a chance, he raids David's closet and tries on as many hats as possible...to David's chagrin he also like Madeleine's pink hat!!!
