Family Campout With Granny and Grandad

This weekend we had our annual family campout with David's family. Granny and Grandad hosted the campout at their house, and had lots of fun activities, including: a "fishing hole", scavenger hunt, bean bag toss, tractor ride, s'mores around the campfire, and boat rides on the lake. The kids had a great time and made some lasting memories. Thanks Granny and Grandad, we love you!

Maddie and her cousin Andrew love the tractor ride. Mason wasn't so sure. Even the ear muffs to drown out the noise didn't seem to help!

What finally worked was daddy riding along with Mason. Then everything was fine!

"You put your backside in, you put your backside out, you put your backside in, and you shake it all about...you do the hokie pokie..." Granny's such a trooper. We sang fun songs around the campfire!
